Job description

Are you passionate about Singapore’s heritage and keen to work on projects that preserve and promote our nation's history? We're hiring on behalf of a government agency for a 1-year contract role with potential for extension or conversion.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain meaningful experience in the heritage and multimedia space.

What You Can Expect:

  • Exposure to national archives and Singapore’s historical content
  • Hands-on involvement in multimedia content development
  • Office hours with a central work location (City Hall – nearest MRT)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day operations of archival records, including metadata input and monthly reporting
  • Upload and manage multimedia materials on project platforms
  • Participate in field recording sessions, workshops, and outreach events
  • Draft captions, synopses, and research notes for multimedia programs
  • Select and edit archival content for educational, online, and exhibition use
  • Design visual materials such as posters and banners for curated projects
Requirements:
  • Degree in History, General Arts, Social Sciences, Communication or Media Studies
  • Strong interest in Singapore culture and heritage
  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools is a plus
  • Good writing and research skills
  • Creative eye for design and content presentation
