A construction company in Singapore is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to oversee technical coordination and site construction. The ideal candidate will manage sub-consultants, assist in cost and contract administration, and ensure safety compliance on-site. ARCHITECTURAL COORDINATOR
1. Technical Coordination
1.1. Superimpose archi and structural drawings to produce Archi & Structural Setting Out Plan as the basis for all the other Coordinated Drawings and all kinds of Shop Drawings. Pls refer to IBC-PMM-C.1.5a (Coordinated Drawings) for details.
1.2. To cooperate with structural coordinator and M&E coordinator for all kinds of technical matters.
1.3. To coordinate with architect and all the other consultants for technical matters, incl attending consultant meetings.
1.4. To coordinate with all archi subcons & suppliers on shop drawings, material samples, technical clarifications (RFI, SFA, MSF, CVI), etc and seek approvals from respective consultants / client.
2. Site Construction
2.1. To organize and supervise archi works at site in terms of progress, technical, QA/QC, etc with assistance from Archi Supervisor (if any).
2.2. To assist PM to prepare periodic progress report for onward submission to client and consultants.
2.3. To coordinate with all archi subcons and suppliers for materials ordering / delivery, site construction matters, technical matters, etc.
3. Cost & Contract
3.1. To assist QS to prepare progress claim for onward submission to client and consultants.
3.2. To assist QS to review and certify subcons’ and suppliers’ claims in terms of site progress, quality, etc.
3.3. To assist QS on administration of both main contract and sub-contracts, such as VO, EOT, payment certificates, etc.
3.4. To assist head office for new project tenders as and when requires.
4. Safety & Environmental
4.1. To assist safety personnel to manage safety performance of archi subcons.
4.2. To attend safety meetings and supervise archi subcons to resolve safety issues at site.
5. Personal Development
On top of archi matters, you are encouraged to learn in all other aspects in terms of project management during daily operations, so that you can obtain the opportunity in getting promoted to APM / DPM / PM, if capabilities and potentials are proven and recognized.
