Job summary

GLEAVE PARTNERSHIP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Architecture and Fire Safety specialist to provide expert guidance across a data centre campus, including buildings, mechanical yards, electrical yards and the wider site.

You will collaborate with A/E design consultants, review technical details against standards, and contribute to value engineering. responsibilities include design reviews, reporting, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders during weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with A/E design consultants following established standards.
• Review recommendations against global and regional standards, cost, and business case.

Responsibilities

• Peer review A/E design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and models.
• Provide comments and resolutions per established engineering standards.
• Review value-engineering opportunities.
• Deliver Architecture and Fire Safety expertise across a full data centre campus.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external engineers and contractors.
• Escalate schedule-impacting design issues to Design Manager and Architect Lead.
• Attend weekly meetings with design and design management teams.
• Follow internal stage-gate processes.
• Deliver design reviews and written response management.
• Manage stakeholder responses via tickets, slides, trackers, BIM360/ACC.
• Produce Design Review reports in required formats.
• Conduct impact analysis between design options as needed.
• Update construction specifications based on site feedback.
• Issue Engineering Bulletins to resolve P0/P1 issues.
• Present findings using Google Slides to internal stakeholders.
• Create conceptual sketches using CAD or BIM for visualization.

Job description Provide expertise in Architecture and Fire Safety design.

Collaborate with A/E design consultants, providing direction in accordance with established architectural and engineering standards.

Review design recommendations and technical details from A/E consultants against global standards, regional suitability, cost impact and business case.

Peer review A/E design deliverables, including drawing sets, specifications, sequences of operations, calculations and models.

Provide comments and resolutions in accordance with established engineering standards.

Review and advise on potential value-engineering opportunities.

Provide Architecture and Fire Safety expertise across a full data centre campus, including physical buildings, mechanical yards, electrical yards and the wider site.

Work with internal stakeholders, third-party engineers and consultants, project managers, construction management firms and construction contractors to develop and improve Architecture and Fire Safety design.

Escalate schedule-impacting design issues to the Design Manager and Architect Lead.

Attend weekly meetings with design and design management teams.

Fulfil internal stage-gate processes.

Deliverables:

• Design reviews and written response management.
• Stakeholder response management through internal ticketing systems, slide decks, spreadsheets, trackers, BIM360/ACC, meeting notes and similar documents.
• Design Review reports in formats specified by the Design Manager.
• Impact analysis between design options as required.
• Construction specification updates based on localised site feedback.
• Engineering Bulletins to resolve P0 and P1 issues raised through the Bug Bounty Program.
• Presentations using Google Slides to communicate findings, evaluations and options to internal stakeholders.
• Conceptual sketches using CAD or BIM for internal visualisation and spatial/dimensional validation.
