Job summary

Genia, based in Singapore, seeks an AI/ML Engineer specializing in computer vision to interpret DWG architectural drawings. You will design and train CV pipelines, ranging from classical methods to state-of-the-art models, to extract geometry, text, symbols, and structural data from technical drawings.

Expect strong Python expertise, experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and OCR, plus collaboration with CAD/BIM teams to deliver production-ready, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, CV, or related field.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, geometry, and image processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize computer vision models for entity detection and annotation extraction from architectural drawings.
• Apply classical CV techniques alongside deep learning for vector/raster understanding.
• Design and train CNNs, U‑Net, Mask R‑CNN, YOLO, DETR, and ViT for CAD drawing elements.
• Implement OCR pipelines for text and dimension extraction in drawings.
• Build robust data pipelines: DWG preprocessing, rasterization, augmentation, and dataset creation.
• Benchmark, evaluate, and continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate models into CAD/BIM workflows.
