Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter / Coordinator to prepare and manage architectural drawings for building construction projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with consultants, engineers, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, compliant, and aligned with construction requirements.

Responsibilities include generating AutoCAD drawings (shop, construction details, as-built), reviewing revisions, and updating drawings during construction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Architecture, Building, Drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant architectural drafting experience in building construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or BIM software is advantageous.
• Familiar with architectural detailing, construction methods, and Singapore building practices.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings accurately.
• Strong coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and complete drawings within project deadlines.
• Experience in LTA, MRT, or main contractor projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural, shop, construction detail, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review and revise drawings based on comments from architects, consultants, and project teams.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, M&E, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design discrepancies.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and company quality standards.
• Assist in preparing drawings and supporting documents for consultant and authority submissions.
• Update drawings throughout the construction period to reflect approved design and site changes.
• Attend design and coordination meetings and provide technical drawing support to the project team.
