Job summary

10 Design, part of Egis Group, is a global architecture and master planning practice with a network spanning Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The Architectural Designer will help translate the project brief into compliant, high-quality drawings and documents across concept through detail stages.

The role emphasizes coordination with engineers and consultants, adherence to local codes, and sustained design excellence within a dynamic team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree educated - Bachelor / Masters in Architecture, Urban Design or equivalent.
• Excellent design skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Engage in project research and assist the project leader in compiling a preliminary project report.
• Prepare detailed sketches or layouts of intricate or fundamental portions illustrating architectural plans.
• Coordinate with engineers for MEP and structural requirements when required.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and ensure drawings conform to local codes and authorities.
• Ensure design documentation adheres to QA/QC procedures.
• Develop exterior, facades, and ornamental work with emphasis on architectural quality.
• Produce complete sets of drawings and specifications for each stage.
• Coordinate with disciplines and project coordinator to accommodate design changes.
