A leading architectural firm in Singapore seeks a project manager to oversee design and delivery of diverse projects, including landed properties and commercial buildings. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality results while adhering to Singapore regulations. Ideal candidates hold a recognized degree in architecture with substantial experience in similar projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the design and delivery for a range of project types in a variety of settings, including landed properties or commercial-office building led, or mixed-use.
- Preparing of quotation for individual projects and get approval from the CEO upon presentation to the client.
- Lead project meetings and presentations; ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion to share with your project teams.
- Lead the communication between the project team, clients, contractors and consultants.
- Actively lead a range of project team sizes for successful delivery.
- Assist in establishing overall project budgets and milestone schedules.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the requirements of the client, with the design team working to the correct specifications and delivering a high quality and timely product to the client.
- Anticipate and resolve complex technical and design issues as they arise during document preparation and construction administration.
- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
- Provide design and technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve design and technical challenges.
- Able to work independently as the project lead.
Qualifications
- A recognized Degree/master's in architecture from a reputable university
- 4 to 10 years of working experience in landed property or commercial projects.
- Conversant with Singapore codes and regulations is a prerequisite, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore
- Proficiency in CAD/functional drafting capability/Sketchup
- Able to work well in a team
