Architectural Coordinator

Career summary:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to join one of the leading Design & Build and Main Contractor firms focusing on landed residential projects. This position will have the opportunity to see-through multiple projects end-to-end, from Good-Class-Bungalows to other landed residential works. They will be expected to work independently with our architect partners, and coordinate well across multiple disciplines (Structural, M&E, ID). This is an on-site role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the architectural coordination and installation process on construction sites.
• Coordinate with architectural subcontractors to ensure proper scheduling, communication, and execution of design plans.
• Develop and review architectural drawings, detailing, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all architectural-related issues on the construction site, working to resolve any disputes or challenges that may arise.
• Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, and management to ensure coordination and alignment of architectural plans with overall project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with architectural specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records related to architectural coordination activities.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with client, subcontractors, project team, and other parties involved in the project.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Architectural/ Engineering/ Construction or any other discipline related to Building Construction.
• At least 5 years of experience in the building construction field, with a strong preference especially focused on high-end residential projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, adept at interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to read and understand construction technical drawings, detailing & documentation.
• Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup, etc.).
• Familiarity with coordination across disciplines (Structural, M&E, and ID).
• Good time management and ability to multi-task.
