Job Description
The Architectural Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring that works are executed in compliance with architectural plans, specifications, and local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Study architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure drawing consistency and accuracy.
- Monitor and inspect architectural works at various stages to ensure alignment with specifications and design intent.
- Coordinate sequencing of architectural works with structural and M&E trades to avoid conflicts.
- Attend site meetings and design coordination meetings to update progress or issues.
- Ensure approved materials are delivered and used on-site.
- Provide clarification and support to site team for architectural detailing and constructability issues.
- Liaise with consultants and architects for prompt design clarifications or amendments.
- Assist the project manager in updating work schedules and reporting on progress of architectural works.
- Prepare records and documentation of inspections, approvals, and issues encountered.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or Construction Management or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in architectural coordination on construction sites.
- Familiar with local codes and regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work at project sites and attend meetings when required.
