A leading company in the architecture sector is seeking a full-time Architectural Project Manager based in Singapore. The role encompasses managing design teams, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout project phases. Ideal candidates will possess a recognized degree in Architecture and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Singapore architectural market.

Job description

Role Description and Overall Job Objectives

This is a full-time role located in Singapore, and will be reporting directly to Principal Architect.

Coordinate with all stakeholders to the project to ensure timely delivery and proper documentations of project deliverables throughout the various key milestones of each project.

Job Responsibilities

The following sets out the architectural & interior design non-exhaustive key responsibilities which you will be undertaking. In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time to meet the business needs of the Company and possible associated companies.

Pre-Project Inception

· Understanding prospective Clients’ requirements and formulating project briefs

· Manage a team of designers to prepare design proposals in securing new projects for the Company. Prepare presentation decks for design presentations.

· To take lead in design changes, updates and conduct constant check-ins with design team to ensure designs are up to date and prepared on time and in strict compliance to authority regulations.

Design and Authority Submissions

· To manage and ensure design team develops concept, schematic design, detailed design and design development

· Assist in preparing and reviewing design documentation.

· Coordinate with Authority Team to submit Drawings and documents to authorities (e.g., URA, BCA) to obtain statutory approvals

Tender and Contracts

· Organize tender processes, prepare tender documents, and evaluate tender submissions.

· Support in drafting and managing contracts and procurement processes.

Project and Construction Management

· Track progress during the construction phase.

· Update stakeholders on status of project, next course of action to ensure timely completion of project

· Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, solving problems during construction stage

· Liaise with internal design and support teams and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors).

· Recording site meeting minutes (as required and appropriate) and assisting project architect in coordinating site issues

· Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications.

· Obtaining feedback on work in progress and finished results from clients.

Project Completion

· Maintain organized project records and reports.

· Prepare completion documents, including certifications and final authority submissions.

· Administer defects liability period to ensure defects are rectified by contractors

Any other administrative tasks

· ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BizSafe Level 3 certifications. Coordinate with external consultants to establish framework, paperwork, templates in line with ISO certification requirements for internal and external audit

· Source for suppliers with accredited high-quality materials that are sustainable, social impact, ESG for every necessity in a project

· Support the digital media team through maintenance of websites and creating more backlinks through design competitions and awarded projects etc

· Weekly meetings for project updates, both on site and business projects with Principal Architect and business team

Qualifications

· Singaporeans/ PRs may apply

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in the architectural industry in Singapore

· Familiar with Singapore building and authority regulations

· Proficiency in Architecture and experience preparing Construction Drawings

· Experience with Singapore Building Information Modeling (BIM) and E-Submission Process

· Project Management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and budgets

· Familiarity with sustainable design principles is a plus

· Recognized Degree in Architecture or equivalent, registrable with Board of Architects, Singapore
