Job summary

A construction consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Architect for a project contract beginning on January 29, 2024. Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to Project Director, Project Manager, Construction Manager.
  • Compile and review architectural drawings and ensure alignment with project components.
  • Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.
  • Attend to progress meetings with Clients and Consultants.
  • Support the submission of architectural drawings, material samples, and method statements.
  • Planning and coordination of architectural works on-site for timely execution.

Architect

  • Work Location: Changi Naval Base (Lavender area)
  • Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day
  • Updated Salary: $4000 to $6000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

  • Degree/master’s in architectural engineering, design, or similar or equivalent, recognized under Board of Architect
  • At least 3 years of Experience in a marine construction/construction company is favourable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD software/BIM/Revit or other design software.
  • Minimum three years of post-graduate experience in the related field.

Job Scope

  • Reports directly to Project Director, Project Manager, Construction Manager.
  • Compile and review architectural drawings and ensure alignment with structural, mechanical and electrical components of the project.
  • Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.
  • Attend to progress meeting with Clients and Consultants.
  • Support the submission of architectural drawings, material samples, and method statements as required.
  • Planning and coordination of architectural works on-site to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Liaise with the project team /clients to resolve discrepancies and provide timely updates on project milestones.
  • Producing detailed reports as required by the project roadmap.
  • Using software programs for simulating architectural designs
  • Verifying and validating onsite work against plans and designs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management to support project delivery.
