A global technology company in Singapore is looking for an SAP Controlling Architect to manage and optimize their SAP Controlling module. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of SAP Controlling experience and will work closely with finance and business teams to ensure accurate product costing. Job description

As an SAP Controlling Architect IT Applications-India at Kennametal, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing and optimizing the SAP Controlling module to facilitate product cost planning, analysis, and reporting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of product cost data, drive enhancements in processes, and offer strategic insights to support business decisions.Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and maintaining the SAP Controlling module, encompassing cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis. You will engage with finance and business units to gather requirements and execute solutions for identified improvements. Driving continuous enhancement in product cost accounting processes through technologies like RPA, AI, or other tools will be a significant aspect of your role. Additionally, you will manage small to medium-sized projects, develop specifications for enhancements, and lead process optimization initiatives to boost efficiency and precision in product costing functions. Providing training and assistance to end-users on SAP Controlling functionalities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory mandates, and supporting auditors when required will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, mentoring and nurturing junior team members will be an integral part of your role.To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP Controlling versions S4H and ECC. Your expertise in SAP implementation projects as a team leader or member, coupled with a robust understanding of financial processes and the SAP Controlling module (including material ledger, internal orders, finished goods, and work in process inventory) will be crucial. Proficiency in areas such as Sales Order Costing, SAP Project Systems, SAP FI, COA, J/E posting, and subledger accounting is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in SAP ERP and related reporting tools, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively are essential for this role. Moreover, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and power platform will be advantageous.While not mandatory, possessing SAP certifications would be considered an added advantage for this position.,
