Job summary

A leading engineering and construction firm in Singapore seeks a Site Coordinator to manage site activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in construction projects. Candidates must have a degree in architecture, at least 8 years of local experience, and strong leadership skills. The position requires excellent knowledge of architectural specifications and proficiency in BIM. Only Singaporeans are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Singapore construction projects.
  • Ability to lead subcontractors for smooth project progress.
  • Good knowledge of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements.

Job description

Lead in Site Coordination with all trades.

· Prepare submission of shop drawings, materials, and MOS.

· Ensure work is constructed in accordance with the contract and drawings.

· Plan architectural works and micro-schedule with other disciplines.

· Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities on project matters.

· Implement and ensure QC plan.

· Procure and monitor architectural-related materials.

· Conduct inspections, trade demos, material testing, and mock-ups.

· Verify Variations Orders (VO) and prepare back charges.

· Attend subcontractor meetings.

· Check and ensure compliance with TOP checklist and RI (Arch).

· Manage architectural materials, sample boards, trade demos, and shop drawing submissions, including review comments from consultants.

· Complete design studies and monitor construction progress.

· Create and update work schedules using scheduling tools.

· Update architectural progress regularly.

· Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

· Ensure work activities are carried out in a safe working environment.

· Relevant HDB experience will be an added advantage.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.

· Relevant qualifications or certificates in architectural discipline.

· Ability to lead subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of works, high-quality standards, and minimal defects.

· Preferably completed QM projects.

· Independent, diligent, highly motivated, with excellent team spirit.

· Good knowledge of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in BIM.

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in Singapore construction projects.

· High initiative and strong analytical skills.

· Knowledge of A&A works or project works is welcome.
