Job summary

You will handle complex matters, conduct international law research, draft memorials, manage witness statements, and work closely with Japanese clients and counsel across the firm’s network. Some travel should be expected.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years' post-qualification experience at a leading firm or international practice.
• Strong written and spoken Japanese; high proficiency in English.
• Admission to a common law jurisdiction; outstanding academic results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex disputes.
• Draft arbitration memorials and manage witness/expert preparations.
• Assist on large international arbitration and treaty matters.
• Support client communications and coordinate with global teams.
