Training for scuba diving will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform animal husbandry and complete underwater tasks for assigned animals to the highest standard
• Prepare and deliver daily diets and nutritional requirements to animals under care
• Assist in animal medical procedures and transfer of animals between locations
• Maintain cleanliness of exhibits
• Perform general maintenance of aquariums and exhibits, repair tools and equipment
• Observation and data recording of animal behavior
• Daily siphoning of debris /waste and cleaning of acrylic panels in exhibits

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Science, Aquaculture, Biological or Life Sciences
• Scuba diving certification of Open Water Dive and above preferred.
• Candidates with no scuba diving certification may also apply. Training and certification will be provided.
• Confident to work in an aquatic environment
• Passionate about working with animals
• Passion for environmental sustainability and conservation
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays
