Job description

Apprenticeship / Mentee Program

Under this program, proposed mentees will be selected and assigned to different roles under the guidance of an IFA team member for the duration. The roles are suitable for 6 weeks to 2 months, starting 1 August 2025. The roles may involve travel, contingent on project needs. These roles come with a stipend and involve work-based learning; they are not internships. Participants will receive relevant credits for the projects they work on and may participate in multiple projects to ensure exposure to various content outputs.

Proposed Producer’s Mentee (Factual and Scripted)

Possible Learning Outcomes:

• Assist and learn all aspects of production from development to post-production, including research, writing treatments, reviewing scripts, and coordinating with crew, VFX, editors, and sound designers.

Proposed Production Manager’s Mentee (Factual and Scripted)

Possible Learning Outcomes:

• Assist and learn all aspects of production management from development to post-production, including costing, budgeting, logistics, coordinating with suppliers and talent, and social media planning for projects.
