Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer focused on DevOps to help customers adopt our AI products and solve their toughest technical challenges.

In ML Infra, you’ll deploy cutting-edge AI applications, work with researchers and product engineers on deployment, scaling, and contribute to open-source codebases, while guiding customers through technical decisions. You’ll own end-to-end execution in small teams, from architecture discussions to production rollout.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to explain complex tech to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Experience deploying and managing AI-based products in production environments.
• Fluent in Python.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboard customers on our products, guiding deployment and integration from GPU stack to infrastructure and interfaces.
• Deploy state-of-the-art AI applications across consumer and industrial use cases with customer collaboration.
• Work with researchers and product engineers on complex projects involving deployment, scaling, and open-source codebases.
