Job summary

Legrand in Tuas, Singapore (Remote) seeks an Applications Engineer (Design) - APAC to provide high-level engineering expertise, technical design and commercial support on Starline busduct products across projects in APAC.

You will draft offers, verify technical aspects, support sales and provide solutions for design challenges, collaborating with Purchasing, R&D and field teams, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical product design and application in power distribution
• Strong communication and presentation skills for customer meetings
• Ability to work across multiple internal departments and with suppliers

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level engineering expertise and technical design for Starline busduct products in APAC
• Draft offers and verify technical aspects of applications based on customer requirements
• Support sales with technical and commercial inputs, on-site or remote as needed
• Coordinate with Purchasing, R&D, Test and Product Engineering to resolve design issues and deliver solutions
• Attend customer meetings to present product solutions and project updates
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards throughout project life cycle
