Responsibilities:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic professional to support technical demand planning, vendor governance, and risk assurance within the Cards Technology domain. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and governance across our cards department.
- Manage and support project demand forecasting and resource planning for Technology & Operations (T&O), ensuring alignment with business priorities across new project initiatives, Run-The-Bank (RTB), and Quarterly Releases (QR).
- Oversee project demand approvals within the Cards Department to ensure compliance with governance schedules.
- Monitor RTB demand and obsolescence risks that may impact delivery timelines.
- Support the Cards Tech Demand Forum to drive alignment among senior stakeholders for team formation and resource planning.
- Review project requirements and details prior to approving resource assignments.
- Review and approve project documentation, e-memos, and quarterly vendor evaluations.
- Promote consistency and quality through the Service Delivery Management (SDM) process.
- Manage third-party vendors and outsourcing engagements, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across internal departments and with external partners.
- Prepare and present dashboards, performance metrics, and management reports to senior leadership
- Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Escalate issues impacting project schedules in a timely manner and propose appropriate workarounds or resolutions.
- Ensure all project documentation adheres to bank standards.

The ideal candidate will be a dependable and result-oriented technology delivery manager who can comfortably work in a large development organization in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork, and collaboration. He/she should be passionate about Technology and have a mindset to be technically hands-on if needed. Well-versed in the latest trends, especially around disruptive technology, and proven record in execution. The ability to work and thrive in high pressure environment is essential.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in banking IT services, with a strong understanding on cards technology, risk management, and vendor governance.
- Demonstrated success in managing and overseeing complex projects with strong governance practices.
- Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
- Experience and have technical knowledge of cards platforms (e.g., Cardlink, VisionPlus), mainframe systems (CICS/Cobol), and related applications (e.g., CACS, 2C2P, Arcot).
- Familiarity with process governance and risk methodologies.
- Knowledge/exposure in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Business domain knowledge covering areas of cards, e-commerce, portals, collections, loyalty rewards and open banking is preferred
- Experienced in managing and maintaining both new and existing vendor relationships ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations. Knowledge of best practices in procurement and strategic sourcing.
- A strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.
- Experience in working with teams located across multiple countries and an ability to interact with different cultures
- Knowledge in cards risk and compliance will be a plus.
- Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skill
