Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide support to create a technology roadmap to meet program objectives, working closely with Head Office, regional business sponsors, and IT stakeholders.

  2. Support the setup of IT workstreams for Wholesale Banking, Private Wealth Banking products and services such as Loans, Deposits, Treasury, Securities Custody, and Execution.

  3. Assist in program feasibility studies, analyzing pros and cons of solution options to meet timelines, and seek stakeholder consensus.

  4. Coordinate the definition of business and system requirements, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, budgeting, implementation plans, and quality assurance processes.

  5. Review application architecture and infrastructure designs.

  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to explore technical solutions that meet business objectives and requirements.

  7. Support the implementation of regional technology programs to achieve strategic and tactical goals, focusing on standardization opportunities. Develop understanding of banking systems at Japan Head Office, regional, and local levels to provide tailored solutions.

  8. Assist in establishing and implementing project management practices, templates, policies, and tools to enhance the Program and Project Management capabilities within the IT APAC organization.

  9. Participate in key regional meetings, providing updates and aligning on programs and projects.

  10. Support program risk assessments to identify potential issues, track status, and monitor progress.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

  2. Knowledge of banking domains such as Wholesale Banking and Private Wealth Banking products and services, including Loans, Deposits, Treasury, and Securities Custody & Execution platforms.

  3. Experience in technology delivery, solution design, and project governance frameworks.

  4. Experience conducting program feasibility studies, solution analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and stakeholder consensus building.

  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
