Role: Trade Support Engineer
Client: Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists
Salary: Up to $280,000 + bonus + package/perks
Location: Singapore (Hybrid/Remote - 3/4 days onsite)

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the operational readiness of global trading platforms across pre-trade and post-trade functions. You will proactively identify, assess, and resolve issues—or escape where appropriate—to minimize disruption, prevent outages, and ensure seamless trade execution. Key Responsibilities

• System Oversight: Maintain the health and stability of high-performance global trading platforms.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve real-time technical hurdles to prevent outages.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure all systems are prepared for daily trading activities across multiple time zones.
• Escalation & Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to minimize trade disruption and improve system resilience.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of trade flow support experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Solid Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL, Postgres, etc.).
• Infrastructure: Must have a genuine love for Linux.
• Education: A Computer Science Degree is considered a "nice to have."
• Personality: A genuine passion for technology and a motivated, collaborative attitude.
