An established industry player is seeking an Application Support Analyst for a 1-year renewable contract. This role involves managing user requests, ensuring daily support tasks, and acting as a communication channel with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in application support, particularly within the banking sector, and familiarity with SQL, Unix, and CI/CD tools. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to sustainable solutions and enhance your professional skills while supporting critical banking operations.
Application Support Analyst (Bank)
(1-year renewable contract under GMP, with possibility of conversion to permanent depending on performance)
Manages user requests & incidents in a timely manner: Prioritizes user requests based on their urgency, criticality, and context. Ensures effective communication with relevant stakeholders during incident management (major or minor).
Ensures daily support tasks: Performs sanity checks (morning and evening), manages on-call duties, contributes to change requests, urgent data modifications, INTPRODs executions, and escalations.
Pushes for sustainable resolutions and maintains knowledge management: Contributes to major incident reports and post-mortems as needed. Keeps support documentation up to date.
Acts as the IT Run communication channel with stakeholders: Supports major events such as BCP, disaster recovery, and production interventions, coordinating with support engineers, users, and CAGIP stakeholders.
May extend activities to tasks like testing or business analysis if part of the squad.
Minimum 4 years of experience in application support, with exposure to the banking industry.
Experience in SQL, Unix, Microservices, CI/CD tools, etc.
