Job description

Location (Nearest MRT): Bukit Merah

Salary: Up to $4,800 (Depends on Qualification & Relevant Work Experience)

Duration of Work: 1 Year Contract (Renewable!)

Work Day: Mondays to Fridays

Work Hours: Office Hours

Must Have Technical Experience:

  • AWS, Oracle DB, System Support, Java, SDLC Knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Perform product installation and configuration

  • Perform deployment and testing of product packages to ensure that the deliverable is in accordance to requirements documented in the specification. Where relevant, perform the necessary system programming & configuration.

  • Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Where relevant, escalate the issue to vendor.

  • Prepare weekly or monthly incidents statistics update to relevant parties.

  • Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures.

  • Ensure that project documentations are up to date

  • Provide adhoc support (after support hours) during system maintenance to ensure that system is functioning properly

  • Perform impact analysis for service request and change request. Where relevant, escalate the changes to vendor for analysis.

  • Execute service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

  • Monitor & measure the performance & availability of the application proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability

Requirements:

  • Minimally Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or other relevant fields of study

  • At least 1 year of working experience in developing and delivering application software
