Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an Application Specialist (LIS / Laboratory IT & Middleware) with hands-on lab experience to bridge clinical lab operations and diagnostic software. You will support LIS/LMS interfacing, middleware workflows, and regional deployments.

The role includes installation, configuration, testing, user training, pre- and post-sales support, and CRM documentation. Hybrid work is offered along with structured training in healthcare IT.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
• Hands-on experience working in a clinical/diagnostic lab or internship focused on laboratory workflows.
• Interest in transitioning into healthcare IT with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the software application side of diagnostic devices, managing system-to-system communications, middleware workflows, and LIS/LMS interfacing.
• Provide installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and testing for healthcare software and connected devices in clinical lab environments.
• Utilize your understanding of lab process flows to help end-users troubleshoot device issues and optimize workflows.
• Conduct training sessions for hospital/lab end-users, internal teams, and regional partners on software features and system administration.
• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, address cybersecurity inquiries, and maintain CRM documentation.
