Job description

You are a proven collaborator and proactive problem solver who is dedicated to driving improvements in the end-to-end product/system lifecycle, covering customer-facing products and colleague-facing applications. You excel in building strong professional relationships and working closely with the Application Security Team, Security Champions, and colleagues from various departments to solve organizational challenges. Your primary focus will be on developing a strong security culture and capability across the business, ensuring that new product/system releases are secure and addressing vulnerabilities in live products and systems effectively.This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work 3 days a week from the Bangalore office. You will collaborate with the Security Awareness and Engagement team and Security Champions to enhance security capabilities within Product Engineering or Enterprise Application Development teams. Your responsibilities include driving continuous improvement in the secure software development lifecycle, serving as the main point of contact for security issues within assigned products, assessing products for security vulnerabilities, and supporting security compliance efforts.You will contribute to the development and enhancement of methodologies, standards, tools, and approaches within the team, while taking ownership of your personal career development. Managing workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of work to expected quality standards is essential. Additionally, staying up-to-date with the evolving threat landscape by participating in relevant security groups, forums, events, and conferences is crucial for this role.Some key tasks include conducting security reviews of applications, performing threat modeling, collaborating with Security Champions, implementing and configuring security tooling, and managing vulnerability remediation.
