Application Production Support Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Application Production Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Banking (preferably Wealth Management, but candidates from Investment Banking, Private Banking, or Asset Management are welcome). The role involves providing technical support for critical applications, troubleshooting database issues, and collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for banking applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and develop/debug SQL queries.
• Support ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and data pipeline management.
• Utilize job automation tools (Control-M), monitoring tools (Geneos, Tivoli), and incident tracking tools (ServiceNow).
• Develop and troubleshoot Unix/Windows shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL queries.
• Communicate effectively with clients, business teams, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Banking/Wealth Management or related sectors (Investment Banking, Private Banking, Asset Management).
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and ETL tools.
• Proficiency in job automation tools (Control-M) and incident management tools (ServiceNow).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems and infrastructure.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge of financial applications and data management practices.
