Job summary

L-Acoustics is seeking an Application Engineer for APAC, based in Southeast Asia (preferably Malaysia) to support our network of clients with premium sound system design and on-site support. The role involves extensive travel across APAC, delivering training, demonstrations, and technical guidance using Soundvision.

Requires 8+ years in Pro Audio, knowledge of EASE/SMAART, and proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in Pro Audio industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the APAC Installation and Touring Pro Audio market.
• Bachelor/Master/Engineering Degree preferred.
• Experienced in modeling (EASE) and common measurement tools (SMAART) preferred.
• Practical PA system design and operation for touring and/or corporate touring market.
• Location and Travel: Applicant must reside in South-East Asia, Preferably Malaysia and be authorized to work in these countries.
• A portfolio of previous work is required with application.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with key APAC consultants and engineers; provide Sound system design support and documentation.
• Conduct training and product demonstration; elaborate technical presentations.
• Support for Products, applications, safe operation and software.
• On-site acoustical and mechanical verification/measurement, commissioning and VERIFICATION.
