Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals according to customers' requirements.
• Provide a cost analysis for various solutions.
• Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the benefits of the system and how it may suit the customer better than competing solutions.
• Sourcing and negotiation of components and parts for alternatives, cost effective when required.
• Participate in training and site inspection as assigned.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or at least 1 year relevant working experience.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and OPC.
• Able to read and interpret E&I drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good team player who can work independently and cross-departmentally.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD.
