Job description

Location: Central

Position: Application Developer- CK

Responsibilities:

1. Gather requirements and understand user needs for applications development
2. Design and configure SharePoint solutions architecture aligned with business requirements
3. Develop and design customized SharePoint applications utilizing forms, web parts, C#, and other functionalities to meet internal needs and business processes
4. Deploy and administer applications within SharePoint, ensure maintenance, provide support, and enhancements for existing applications
5. Conduct user training and prepare documentation like functional specifications and user guides
6. Participate in Application Change Management processes
7. Database Server management (setup, Database creation, schema design, administration, migration, configuration, performance tuning, etc.)
8. Explore & evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement to the systems and business processes
9. Collaborate closely with IT members and cross-functional departments to introduce new technologies and implement best practices for improved operations
10. Responsible for Project Management at certain stages e.g. Execution, Monitoring & Control and Closure, if possible, partially in the initial and planning (costing) phases
11. Design creative prototypes according to specifications
12. Test for high quality and self-document code according to software design principles
13. Identify root cause for problems and develop workarounds or permanent fixes / solutions

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent IT related qualification
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
3. Experience in SharePoint and Microsoft Office, Software, familiar with front-end programming languages (ASP.net, C#, XML, Javascript, CSS, HTML)
4. Familiar with SQL Script (Stored Procedure, Stored Function)
5. AS400, SQL-RPG programming skill is a plus
6. Ability to identify and solve complicated software issues (within a single or in multiple/cross systems environment)
7. Experience in database systems like DB2, MSSQL
8. Knowledge in SQL Server Integration Service is a plus
9. Knowledge in RPA (Robotic Process Automation e.g. UiPath) or Mobile Application development will be added advantages
