The Application Development team is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of Service implementation and enhancements. As an Application Architect - ServiceNow, your responsibilities include:
Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success.
Assist in architecting robust and future-ready solutions for clients.
Facilitate all ServiceNow ITSM, GRC-IRM, and SecOps-VR workshops and assist ServiceNow process business analysts with all workshops.
Facilitate, guide, coordinate, and set up in all required environments (e.g., DEV, SIT, etc.):
ServiceNow Platform Core Setup
CMDB
ITSM
Development environment migration and ensuring migration success.
Expert advisory and lead in hands-on development work including:
Provisioning and configuration of ServiceNow App, Par export, MID server components instances.
Provisioning and configuration of ServiceNow databases including Oracle, MariaDB, AWS RDS, etc.
Integration between ServiceNow and other APIs, integration points, or applications.
Facilitate all ServiceNow testing.
Responsible for all ServiceNow architectural decisions and changes.
Involved in all discussions and responsibilities relating to ServiceNow. Abide by client’s standards, development processes, and best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
More than 5 years of ServiceNow Development Experience and over 3 years in a Solution Architect Role.
Configuration experience in ServiceNow IT Workflows, Employee Workflows, Customer Workflows, and Creator Workflows in projects over multiple towers.
ServiceNow CSA, CIS – ITSM, and 1 certification each from ITOM and IRM.
Experience in out-of-box (OOB) customization for ServiceNow ITSM modules, surveys, forms, etc.
Experience in self-hosted environment ServiceNow implementation in Cloud (AWS).
Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments that have implemented areas such as CSM, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC, Integrations, etc.
Excellent knowledge of integrating with internal and external applications and systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal, written, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor staff in the development and release management relative to the ServiceNow platform to drive quality, value, and best practices.
Strong ITIL processes and best practice knowledge.
Excellent knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other such technologies.
Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment.
