Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Singapore invites a Senior Analyst/Assistant Vice President to join the Trade, Wealth & Corporate Solutions (TWCS) team. Based in Singapore, you will drive deal origination and client engagement across diversified industries.

You will identify trade finance opportunities, structure bespoke solutions with product teams, lead pitches, and coordinate with credit, operations and compliance to execute transactions while achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
3-5 years of experience in trade finance or corporate banking.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new trade finance opportunities across APAC.
Originate and structure bespoke trade finance solutions with RM and product teams.
Engage clients to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
Lead preparation of pitches and proposals; drive deal closure and relationships.
Support senior sales with market insights and product expertise.
Coordinate with credit, operations, and compliance for smooth execution.
Prepare or coordinate credit applications and manage deal pipelines.
