Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in power systems to conduct technical reviews for overseas projects and to support design, integration and optimization of prefabricated substations.

You will ensure compliance with international standards and tailor solutions to project needs. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 4 years of T&D experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM (3D).

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews for overseas projects: configuration, assessments, and substations feasibility.
• Support design and engineering plans for prefabricated substations.
• Improve bid competitiveness through cost-effective, robust substations.
• Apply international standards and best practices to improve performance and reliability.
• Lead tender documentation with technical specifications for substations.
• Provide technical support to sales: evaluations and clarifications.
• Develop customized substations configurations and modular designs.
• Experience in data centers and renewable energy projects preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews for overseas projects, covering system configuration, technical assessments, and the suitability of prefabricated substation solutions.
• Support the development and implementation of product design and engineering plans, including the design, integration, and optimization of prefabricated substations.
• Optimize engineering solutions to improve bid competitiveness by delivering cost-effective, reliable, and technically robust prefabricated substation solutions tailored to specific project requirements.
• Apply international engineering best practices and advanced technologies to continuously improve the performance, reliability, quality, and competitiveness of prefabricated substation solutions.
• Develop customized engineering solutions, including specialized prefabricated substation configurations and modular system designs to meet project-specific requirements.
• Provide comprehensive technical recommendations and system-level solutions in compliance with applicable international standards, industry codes, project specifications, and local practices.
• Provide technical support to the sales team, including technical evaluations, clarification of customer requirements, and ongoing assistance related to prefabricated substations and associated power systems.
• Establish technical parameters and lead the preparation, review, and validation of tender documentation, including detailed technical specifications for prefabricated substations.
• Experience in delivering engineering solutions for data centers and renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems, is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) systems and products (AIS, GIS, transformers, LV switchgear).
• Experience in T&D design, prefabricated substations, SLDs, system integration, and equipment sizing/calculations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM (3D).
