What you will do

The APAC Self Care Operations Network Lead is responsible for developing and steering the strategy for the Self Care Finished product supply network within the Asia-Pacific region, as a key enabler to growth - connecting the needs of our innovation pipelines and market commercials plans with requirements for capacity, technology capabilities, external supplier partnerships and regulatory pathways. You will steer the project program for our network, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and continually optimise our network strategy for Self Care finished product supply for our APAC markets, coordinating closely with the Global Self Care network lead in the design and decision making for each change.
  2. Connect innovation portfolio plans for Self Care, and each NPD project, to translate the technology, regulatory and capacity requirements into network design and solutions.
  3. Orchestrate detailed assessments for changes in the supply network with all stakeholders (functions, segment teams and market connects), evaluating capacity and technical requirements and pressure testing each opportunity with alternative scenarios and leading the preparation of business cases.
  4. Create comprehensive business cases for projects, defining project details, costs, timelines, and benefits (financial and non-financial). Present these business cases to senior management for project approval and support.
  5. Steer the deployment/project execution for the APAC Self Care supply network program, providing leadership and guidance to project managers and their teams.
  6. Analyse network data and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to enhance network efficiency and performance.
  7. Serve as the key point of contact on behalf of the Asia Pacific region in collaborating with Global teams in strategic capacity planning and network design.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in science-based, engineering, supply chain, or relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of diverse experience, at managerial levels, with exposure to the following key areas: New Product Development project management, Manufacturing and engineering, Technical Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Regulatory Affairs and Quality.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in network optimization, performance analysis, and driving operational excellence – preferably with experience in OTC or Pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Experience leading projects across multiple markets and with different regulatory compliance requirements.
  5. Strong project management skills and combinations of operations management, financial or analytical skills.
  6. An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence across functional levels.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to act as a change agent and adapt to changing business and organizational dynamics.
  8. Strength in building cross-functional partnerships across different markets and able to influence decision making to support business goals.
  9. Strong business acumen and understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
  10. Proven track record in similar roles, product development and/or site management.
