As part of our continuing growth in the Asia Pacific, we are now looking for a driven and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our Asia Pacific sales team and be based in Singapore. The Sales Manager shall be driving software license business growth with channel partners and expand the partner ecosystem in the region. The ideal candidate will need to have an excellent understanding of the technical aspects of software business including a strong focus on building and leveraging relationships with our partners and selective end-users in Process Industries (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Energy, Water & Wastewater, Minerals), representing Siemens to senior levels of partners’ and customers’ organization, and bringing opportunities forward to achieve timely and successful closure. Responsibilities: Responsible for the identification, development, and closure of software sales opportunities Sales leadership for the Siemens Software for Process Industries portfolio, leveraging a combination of application and domain expertise to a variety of Siemens partners and customers in focus Process Industries (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Energy, Water & Wastewater, Minerals) Drive and grow the partner ecosystem in Asia Pacific Software portfolio comprises: Plant Life Cycle Engineering and Asset Management, 3D Virtual Reality Visualization, Operations Intelligence, Digital Twin Cloud Services, Advanced Simulation and Modelling, Asset Performance Management Geographical scope: ASEAN, Australia, Japan, Korea Sales funnel creation through driving sales process and marketing events such as trade shows, presentations, seminars, etc. Develop opportunities by creative technical/commercial thinking Lead sales discussions and conduct product demonstrations to customers Lead or assist in software proposal, and assist & verify with partners in solution proposals to customers Bring opportunities to closure through participating in the value discovery and assessment process to assist in determining the customer needs Support customer product evaluations through workshop, training, and benchmarks Support channel partners in the sales process to facilitate sales of software Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Control Engineering or Computer Science. Sales experience with Plant Life Cycle Engineering, Process Simulation and Asset Management software products catering for Process Industries. Strong interest in IT Technologies, Manufacturing, IoT, and Industry 4.0 themes. Competencies: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position Ability to lead and work independently and confidently in analysing customer requirements and transforming them into workable solutions Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines Excellent sales and relation-building skills Dynamic with excellent leadership and a high level of accountability Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work well under pressure and self-motivated Willing to work hard and face challenges IT savvy and ability to multitasks Proficient in English Travelling is required and the ability to travel within short notice is a must.
