This job entails collaboration with a wide set of functional teams (including Ownership & Operations, Digital, Programs, Business Development). We are looking for a finance leader with outstanding influencing skills, deep analytical capabilities, ample financial/quantitative horsepower, interest in Apple's business and strategy, polished communication skills, and a player-coach attitude with an ability to build high-performing teams.
Role
- Lead and develop a team of financial professionals focused on the performance of APAC's stores and digital businesses, including more than 100 stores across 10+ countries.
- Provide meaningful business insights through detailed analysis and deep understanding of key business drivers.
- Be a thought leader in both the development and execution of commercial strategies for these markets, working with your team and cross-functional leaders to determine investment plans while driving cross-functional efforts to improve outlier performance.
- Bridge worldwide commercial and operations strategies with ground-level execution.
- Advise cross-functional leaders on the financial impact of strategies and translate those learnings into impactful business actions.
- Encourage debate and collaboration in this highly complex and nuanced space.
- Establish close relationships with Ownership & Operations, Digital, Programs, and Business Development teams to execute initiatives and improve performance.
- Lead the team through business case development for commercial investments and new country expansion.
- Help craft and deploy technology solutions to streamline the business management system in the geo.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced organization.
- Proven leadership skills, including managing high-performing teams and building effective cross-functional relationships.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving skills, and business acumen. Ability to navigate nuanced decisions, balancing financial and non-financial considerations with sensitivity.
- Ability to coach teams in conducting complex, data-driven analysis.
- Highly articulate in both verbal and written communication, capable of articulating recommendations clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MBA with a concentration in Finance is desirable.
- Experience across international markets, especially with the China mainland market, is preferred.
