Job summary

SD Legal in Singapore seeks a senior regulatory counsel to lead regulatory advisory for a global technology platform. You will report to the General Counsel based in the US, manage a team of legal and compliance professionals, and coordinate with product, deal teams, and executives across Asia and worldwide.

The role focuses on regulatory strategy for product distribution, platform protection, and compliance within a fast-moving tech environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years PQE in common law with regulatory focus.
• Tech sector regulation background.
• Experience in regulatory advisory across Asia.
• Commercial and corporate experience secondary to regulation.
• International exposure in education, overseas work or MNCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory advisory for product distribution and platform protection.
• Mix regulation with commercial and corporate work.
• Coordinate with product teams, deal teams, and C-Suite across Asia and globally.
• Manage a team of legal/compliance professionals and external counsel.
