Job summary

Scania Singapore is seeking a senior Regional Compliance Officer to lead the compliance agenda across the Asia & Pacific region. The role manages risks across multiple jurisdictions, including Singapore, India, Japan and Australia, and ensures the implementation of the Scania Group Compliance Program.

The successful candidate will work with senior leadership, drive third-party due diligence, advise on antitrust matters, and develop training to raise awareness of compliance responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, compliance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant compliance, legal or risk management experience in an international setting.
• Experience in at least three areas: anti-bribery/anti-corruption, AML, competition/antitrust, Merger control, third-party due diligence, internal investigations, or human rights/sustainability compliance.
• Fluent written and spoken English; proficiency in additional regional languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC compliance program implementation and ongoing improvements.
• Identify and monitor risks across anti-bribery, AML, competition law, and human rights.
• Provide practical compliance guidance to senior leadership and regional management.
• Conduct third-party due diligence for suppliers and business partners.
• Advise on competition law and regulatory filings.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, compliance or related discipline
