Qualifikationen

• Strong law degree from a reputable university.
• Called to the Bar in an Asia Pacific country, preferably Singapore.
• 20+ years post-qualification experience in law firms or banks.
• At least 5 years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Experience managing cross-cultural, cross-functional teams and cross-border issues.
• Expert knowledge of banking/finance, contract and employment law.
• Excellent communications, negotiations and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with dispute resolution and investigations is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Lead regional legal and documentation teams across multiple markets.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to senior leadership for enterprise initiatives.
• Oversee contracts review, drafting and negotiation with bank-wide alignment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Manage litigation, investigations and cross-border disputes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external law firms as needed.
• Develop and implement regional legal business plans aligned with bank goals.
• Provide training on legal matters and advise on risk mitigation.
