Job summary

SMBC Singapore Branch is seeking an experienced professional to drive Transaction Banking coverage for APAC non-Japanese corporate clients. You will promote cash management solutions, develop strategic account plans, and build enduring relationships to meet evolving treasury needs.

The role requires deep product knowledge in cash management across APAC, strong sales discipline, fluent English, and ideally Mandarin.

Qualifications

7–10 years of relevant experience.
Strong cash management product knowledge across APAC.
Strong sales acumen and ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders.
Ability to interact with customers from working level to senior management.
Strong sales discipline including proposals and high-quality presentations.
Demonstrate cross-sell mindset and experience.
Regional APAC experience and network across key markets desirable.
Fluent in written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

Promote cash management solutions to APAC Non-Japanese clients to grow Transaction Banking.
Develop strategic account plans for priority clients.
Build long-term client relationships by understanding treasury priorities and delivering tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored transaction banking solutions.
End-to-end ownership of clients from origination to after-sales support; leverage SMBC network and digital initiatives.
