As we expand our operations across the APAC region, we are seeking an experienced Freelance Recruiter to support our hiring efforts for a diverse range of roles, from operational and technical positions to corporate positions. This is a contract position that will last for 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Freelance Recruiter based in Singapore who is adept at sourcing and recruiting talent across corporate & industrial/ manufacturing environments. This individual will play a key role in supporting our recruitment efforts across a variety of roles, from entry-level operational positions to corporate and technical hires. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in recruitment across different job categories and industries, with strong knowledge of the local talent market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive & deliver recruitment needs
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for various roles ranging from estimators, engineers, procurement specialist and project managers.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, crafting tailored recruiting strategies for each position.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels to find candidates, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases, with a focus on talent pool in Singapore, Australia, Korea and Japan.
- Screen resumes, conduct video interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless process for candidates and the recruitment team.
- Provide timely updates and status reports to hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate pipelines.
- Assist in extending offers to candidates and help negotiate salary and compensation packages where needed.
Develop & structure recruiting processes
- Develop tailored hiring assessments and interview guides to effectively evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for specific roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to continuously refine the recruitment process and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of processes and workflows, adjusting strategies as needed to meet hiring goals.
- Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on best recruitment practices, interview techniques, and candidate evaluation.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and company policies, maintaining consistency and fairness throughout the hiring process
Implement and manage ATS
- Propose and implement an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process.
- Develop and document ATS workflows, ensuring they align with the company's recruitment strategies and compliance requirements.
- Train hiring managers and recruitment team members on the effective use of the ATS.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ATS, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and user experience.
Enhance recruitment marketing
- Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
- Leverage employer branding to highlight AVTEL’s culture, values, and employee experiences.
- Utilize social media, job boards, and other digital platforms to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.
- Create compelling job postings and recruitment content that resonate with target audiences.
- Analyze the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of recruitment experience. You have demonstrated the ability to recruit for a variety of roles, from entry-level operational positions to managerial and technical roles.
- You have a familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework related to employment in Singapore, including
- You possess a solid understanding of Singapore’s labor market, including sourcing techniques and compensation benchmarks for both blue-collar and white-collar positions.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
- You are highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- You have the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) to align and communicate with global hiring managers.
