Job summary

The Walt Disney Company Singapore office is seeking an APAC Publicity Intern to gain hands-on experience in entertainment marketing. This on-site, full-time internship runs January to June 2027, demanding dedication to supporting the publicity function across Disney Entertainment releases and campaigns.

You will assist in planning regional events, creating press materials, monitoring media coverage, and coordinating with HQ and APAC teams. Strong communication and portfolio are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Marketing or related field.
• Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm) between January and June 2027.
• Must be on-site for the full internship period.
• Indicate internship availability and expected graduation date in resume.
• Indicate marketing portfolio link in resume/application.
• Interest in Disney brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu).
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong communications and teamwork.
• Multilingualism a plus (Mandarin/Korean/Japanese).
• Events experience is a plus.
• Willingness to support outside regular hours for key milestones and onsite events.
• Familiarity with social media trends and platforms.
• Proficient in MS Office and Keynote.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Publicity Campaigns: support planning and execution of regional events, media junkets and interviews (virtual and in-person).
• Work with APAC publicity teams to support in-market campaigns across Studio and Disney+ releases.
• Manage asset distribution between headquarters and APAC markets.
• Assist in creating and/or managing press materials including press releases, media kits, EDMs.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Disney Entertainment teams for cohesive marketing efforts.
• Administrative & Logistics: monitor and analyse media coverage, compile reports and provide coordination support to the publicity team.
