Job summary

YouTube Senior Analyst within Google's Government Affairs and Public Policy team in Singapore will shape policy perspectives for APAC by coordinating with Trust and Safety, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, PR, Marketing, and Product teams.

You will monitor developments, distill perspectives, and help implement public policy strategies while engaging with external stakeholders and internal teams across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in policy analysis and campaigns, working on technology issues or the policy environments that surround them.
• 4 years of experience working within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments across the region, providing actionable recommendations to inform policy strategy and planning.
• Support the development and execution of core team priorities for APAC policy initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop presentations and materials to support cross-functional planning and executive updates on regional and global policy strategies.
• Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to produce high-quality policy collateral and stakeholder resources.
• Advise product teams on policy implications during launches and build relationships with policymakers and industry partners.
