Job summary

PartnerRe Ltd. APAC pricing team is seeking a data-driven professional to support non-life P&C pricing across the region. You will manage end-to-end data crunch processes and collaborate with India-based third party resources to deliver timely insights.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in non-life (re)insurance, exposure to reinsurance pricing, and strong Excel VBA with programming basics. Fluency in English is required; Asian language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a non-life (re)insurance firm.
• Reinsurance treaty pricing experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple lines of business (e.g., Property, Liability, Marine).
• Fluent in English; competency in an Asian language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Price reinsurance treaty business, providing transparent technical insight into the business.
• Participate in account discussions with actuaries, underwriters and other stakeholders.
• Participate in market meetings and contribute to the development of market insights.
• Prioritizing and ensuring delivery of final product within the specified timeframe.
• Utilization of PartnerRe actuarial models and understanding of underlying actuarial theory.
• Manage the recruitment, training and task-allocation process with respect to the Asia data crunch team.
• Work closely with the India third party resource to provide holistic data crunch support to the wider PartnerRe Group.
