Job summary

IG Group is seeking a PR & Public Affairs Manager to lead the function across APAC, with a focus on Singapore. You will drive a high-volume press office, campaigns, and a proactive public affairs programme in a fast-moving newsroom environment.

You will manage agencies, draft messaging, brief spokespeople, and build relationships with journalists and stakeholders across Singapore and APAC, while leveraging market analysts for PR opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in PR, journalism, or related fast-paced environments.
  • Creativity in pitches and data-driven storytelling.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with speed and accuracy.
  • Interest in numbers, market trends and statistics.
  • Attention to detail in newsroom content and numbers.
  • Interest or knowledge in investing and asset classes.
  • Excellent time-management in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage 2-3 agencies across APAC, ensuring high-quality work and results.
  • Draft, edit and review press releases, campaign plans and related content.
  • Support strategy with campaign briefs and tracking against targets.
  • Produce monthly activity reports with valuable business insights.
  • Generate and develop PR ideas in collaboration with agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to source news and data for PR.
  • Prepare spokespeople with messaging documents and Q&A for announcements.
  • Build IG's network by connecting with journalists and political stakeholders in Singapore and APAC.
  • Work with market analysts on media opportunities and story generation.
