Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer/Lead to drive end-to-end design, deployment, and management of DMZ security services across APAC, providing escalation and guidance.

You will lead security solutions, collaborate with engineering teams, ensure compliance, and mentor junior staff while delivering infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale network and DMZ environments.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, and Load Balancing technologies.
• Hands-on with Fortinet, Check Point, Bluecoat, McAfee Proxy and enterprise network security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, and SOCKS; troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, regulatory compliance, and enterprise IT environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, Check Point, or Fortinet are advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of network security solutions.
• Implement and manage Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Proxies, and Load Balancers.
• Ensure security controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards are incorporated.
• Troubleshoot complex network and web connectivity issues (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL, FTP, PAC files).
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and information security teams on projects.
• Drive risk mitigation, capacity planning, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to APAC engineering teams.
