Qualifications

• Experience developing, managing, or supporting logistics security and high-value shipments.
• Experience implementing shipment security controls: tracking, telematics, geofencing, tamper detection, escalation.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, 3PLs, security vendors, and law-enforcement partners.
• Knowledge of multimodal logistics operations and security incident response.

Responsibilities

• Hocus as SME for high-value security controls across lanes, carriers, and 3PLs.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based logistics security framework for high-value shipments.
• Define baseline security requirements for carriers including tracking, route management, and tamper detection.
• Partner with Procurement, Logistics, Global Security, Legal to embed security in supplier agreements.
• Evaluate security tech such as tracking devices, telematics, and smart seals for deployment.
• Manage vendor reviews, pilots, and implementation across global networks.
• Establish monitoring, escalation, and recovery workflows for shipments.
• Measure program effectiveness with metrics like loss rate, response time, and device failures.
• Prepare executive briefings, risk summaries, and supplier scorecards.
