Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks an APAC Assets & Liabilities Management Associate within Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate Risk. You oversee liquidity risk and structural interest rate risk management for APAC entities. You monitor risk metrics, challenge assumptions, and help set policies that support safe, resilient funding strategies.

You will grow through cross-entity decision making and engagement with regulators, providing clear analysis and independent review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in banking across treasury, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, market risk, fixed income trading, or related areas.
• Understanding of regulations and governance in interest rate risk in the banking book.
• Familiarity with EaR, EVS, stress testing and stress construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor liquidity risks related to JPM APAC entities’ activities.
• Analyze sources and uses of liquidity at firm-wide and entity levels.
• Oversee monitoring and evaluation of liquidity and interest rate risk limits.
• Contribute to risk policies, procedures and governance for stressed and normal conditions.
• Provide independent review of regulatory and internal stress scenarios and back-testing.
• Assess structural interest rate risk from asset-liability mismatch through securities and derivatives.
• Evaluate market events and trends on balance sheet and income outcomes.
• Lead deep-dive analyses by entity, line of business, product, or market move.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and regulators with clear analysis and documentation.
