Job summary

Wise is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Manager for the APAC region. The role oversees audits within APAC, collaborates with internal and external partners, and drives governance, risk management and internal controls improvements.

Responsibilities include audit plan development, risk assessment, and leading a team to deliver high-quality audits in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in internal/external auditing, risk, control or assurance roles.
• Experience in technology, fintech or financial services industries.
• Oversaw planning, staffing, delivery and reporting of multiple audit engagements.
• Able to work independently and take ownership over complex areas.
• Strong coordination skills and accountability for timelines and outputs.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and can summarize messages clearly for different audiences.
• Curious and collaborative, drives change and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the internal audit framework and continuous monitoring.
• Develop the annual audit plan, risk assessment and budgeting processes.
• Deliver audits per the plan to ensure timely, relevant outcomes.
• Build and support a self-sufficient internal audit team.
• Monitor progress of audit recommendations and effectiveness of improvements.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Travel to meet objectives as the role is Singapore-based.
