Job summary

You will monitor defence policies and collaborations, synthesize information from diverse sources, and present clear assessments to senior leaders. Independent work and strong English writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English and excellent writing skills.
• Experience in research and policy analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on defence-related developments in identified Asia-Pacific countries.
• Monitor changes in defence policies, priorities and collaborations.
• Produce high-quality, original research reports for military leaders.
• Monitor bilateral relations and design engagement touchpoints.
• Synthesize information from multiple sources to form clear assessments.
• Communicate developments to non-specialist stakeholders clearly.
• Deliver timely research products.
