Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President for APAC Data Privacy within the Firmwide Privacy Office. You will advance the APAC privacy program, align with global standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, secure data handling in a regulated financial environment.

You will design privacy controls, participate in regulator interactions, and lead governance documentation across APAC. Strong technical privacy skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of privacy program design and implementation in financial services or regulated sector.
• Strong technical skills to advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
• Experience with DPIAs, risk assessments, and breach notification processes.
• Knowledge of APAC privacy laws and regulations, with familiarity in GDPR/CCPA.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC privacy program design and execution.
• Advise on privacy requirements for new business initiatives, including notices and regulatory compliance.
• Map regulatory requirements for DPOs across APAC.
• Draft and maintain governance documentation and appointment documents.
• Assist in training programs and APAC privacy controls development.
• Provide guidance on privacy technologies and data risk controls.
